Employers wishing to leverage either of these benefits must voluntarily comply with very detailed program rules.

Yes. Michigan has authorized both the personal adult use and the medical use of marijuana. Employers are not required to accommodate the use of marijuana or for employees to be under the influence of marijuana while at work.
